余阙是元代后期著名的少数民族诗人。他深受汉族文化的熏陶,用汉语创作了大量诗歌,有《青阳先生文集》传世。他的诗歌规仿六朝,清新明丽;以汉魏为宗,优柔沈涵,形成两种不同的风格。

Yu Que was a famous ethnic minority poet in the Yuan Dynasty .He was nurtured by the Han nationality's culture , and wrote lots of poems in Chinese. His writings Mr. Qingyang collected works were spread about and passed on to today .His poems had two difference styles, one imitating Liuchao Dynasty ,pure and fresh, bright and beautiful; the other clanning Han and Wei Dynasty, formal leisurely and undemonstrative.
