Establishment of prostatitis rat model

目的探索实验性前列腺炎发病机制,为中药药效学研究提供组织学依据。方法将角叉菜胶和标准大肠埃希菌直接注射SD大鼠前列腺内,手术后1、3、5、7d分批解剖,进行外观和组织学观察。结果形成典型的前列腺炎动物模型。结论用上述造模方法形成的大鼠前列腺炎,可以为中药药效学研究提供可靠的动物模型。

Objective To explore the mechanism of prostatitis and provide a histological basis for research on pharmacodynamies of Chinese herbs. Methods The carrageenin and the standard Escherichia coli were directly injected into the prostate of SD rats. The samples were dissected on days 1,3,5 and 7 after operation in batches. Then the histologic changes were observed by naked eye and microscope. Result Typical prostatitis animal model was established. Conclusion The rats model with prostatitis can provide for the study on pharmacodynamies of Chinese herbs.
