According to the statistics, by the end of 2006, the utilized area of solar heat products in Shandong had reached 15 million square meters. The government of Jinan is researching the plan of ＂Sunshine Jinan＂ with Linuo Paradigma-a local solar energy water heater enterprise, and is preparing to promote the progress of buildings integrated with solar energy using the two powers of administration and market forces. In April 2007, the only project in solar energy industry-the National Housing Industrialization Demonstrative Basewas awarded to Shandong Linuo Paradigma Co., Ltd. by the Ministry of Construction of China. At the same time. the National Development and Reform Commission issued the ＂Executive Plan of Promoting the Heat Utilization of Solar Energy,＂ and proposed the progress of building integrated with solar energy.
