摘要
在对EPZS和UMHexagonS快速运动估计算法分析研究的基础上,提出一种改进的运动估计算法.该算法采用UMHexagonS的多层次搜索思想,对EPZS算法的钻石模形作适当的变形,有效降低了运动估计的时间.分别应用FS、EPZS、UMHexagonS和改进算法对3种典型的标准图像序列进行测试.测试结果表明,改进算法的图像质量虽略有下降,但运动估计的时间只是FS的30%~40%,EPZS的70%~90%,UMHexagonS的85%~95%.
Based on the study on EPZS and UMHexagonS algorithms, an improved algorithm is proposed, which reduce the motion estimation time efficiently with the idea of multi- layer motion search in UMHexagonS and changed DS model. FS,EPZS,UMHexagonS and the improved algorithms are used to encode three typical video sequences. The experimental results show that the motion estimation time with the improved algorithms is 30%-40% of FS,70%-90% of EPZS,85%-95% of UMHexagonS while keeping similar visual quality.
