[Objective] To evaluate the relationship between CD3+, CD4+, CD8+ T lymphocytes and all kinds of components in human peripheral blood such as white blood corpuscle (WBC), total lymphocytes (TLC), red blood cell (HGB), platelet (PLT) in HIV/AIDS patients. [Methods] The relationship between TLC and CD4/CD8/CD3 T lymphocyte of 297 HIV-infected individuals were retrospectively analyzed by Spearman rank correlation. [ Results] The relationship between CD4+ T lymphocytes and all kinds of components in human blood of 297 HIV/AIDS patients was statistically significant, but there was only a median relationship among CD4+ T lymphocytes, TLC and WBC. The correlation coefficient was 0.576 and 0.423 respectively. There was a poor correlation between CD4+ T lymphocytes and other components. If we divided the patients into three groups by CD4+ T lymphocytes (CD4+ 〈 200/μl, 200/μl≤CD4+ 〈 500/μl, CD4+≥500/μl). Along with the increase of the lymphocyte count, the percentage of the value of all kinds of celia in blood decreased. If we divided the patients into two groups by patients and infectors, except RBC and HGB, the relationship between CD4+ T lymphocytes and all kinds of components in human blood of patients was better than that of infectors. After the combined cure of traditional Chinese and Western medicine, the relationship among CD4+ T lymphocytes, WBC, TLC, RBC and HGB was stronger. In the blood of 297 HIV/AIDS patients, the relationship between CD3+, CD8+ T lymphocytes and all kinds of components in human blood were statistically significant. There was a median correlation with WBC and the correlation coefficient was 0.495 and 0.425 respectively. There was a strong correlation with TLC, and the correlation coefficient was 0.875 and 0.777 respectively. [ Conelution ] The relationship between CD3+, CD4+, CD8+ T lymphocytes in the peripheral blood of HIV/AIDS patients especially in the AIDS patients and all kinds of components in human blood is strong. We can use it as a index for the immune condition and the development stage of the disease in HIV/AIDS patients.
