以关联理论看《红楼梦》的语言语用艺术

A Study on Pragmatic Arts of A Dream of Red Mansionsin the Perspective of Relevance Theory

文学作品无论篇幅大小,其结构总是多层次多维度的。关联理论认为,任何话语都是有关联的。话语的理解过程就是寻找关联的过程。在较小的语境中找不到关联,就得借助更大一些的语境,直至使话语在这种语境中具有最佳语境效果,找到话语的"最佳关联",实现对话语的最准确的理解。本文就是通过对《红楼梦》作品中一些鲜活事例进行分析和推理,从而看到了曹雪芹炉火纯青的语言描写艺术,像生活一样,好像没有成文的章法,但又有其内在的必然规律和联系。

However large or small a literature is,its structure is all multilayered and multidimensional. Relevance Theory（RT） thinks any utterance is relevant and the process of an uttrance understanding is the very thing we are looking for. If we can＇t find their relevance in a small context,we＇ll have to turn to a bigger context till we can reach the effect of optimal relevance for the most appropriate understanding to the utterances. This paper has analyzed some fresh samples in A Dream of Red Mansions through inference in order to indicate CAO Xue-qin＇s high degree of professional proficiency in the usage of language in the masterpiece.
