马端临在《文献通考.经籍考》中的按语,从其性质上可以分为溯源探流类、解释说明类、评价议论类、存疑待考类、考证辨析类以及综合类,这些按语反映了作者可贵的思想和观念、怀疑和批判精神、谨慎和求实的治学态度以及重视典章制度和求通识变的理念。此外,马端临对张禹删改《齐论》的认识是有根据的,并非"不见舆薪"。
Ma Duanlin＇s notes in Wen Xian Tong Kao-Jing Ji Kao can be classified into five types. They are tracing the origin of books, giving explanation, cornments, doubting other＇s opinions, verifying books and combination. These notes reflect the author＇s precious thoughts and concepts, his doubts and critical spirit, his matter-of-fact academic attitudes and the concept of paying attention to decrees and regulations and to the adaptations and changes.
