It has already been known by the meteorological community that MST radar is a powerful tool for wind profiling of the middle atmosphere.In fact,MST radar observation may also supply the temporal and spatial information of atmospheric turbulence in the middle atmosphere which is significant to our understanding the function and effect of turbulence in vertical transport of mass, energy,and momentum.Xianghe MST/ST radar was established in 1995 in its ST mode.This radar has the fast scanning ability which is favorable to reveal the structure of middle atmospheric turbulence.Preliminary results are described in this paper.
