Effects of stern-gold attachment and magnetic attachment on mandible over-denture retention:A comparative study

摘要 目的:比较太极扣覆盖义齿和磁性覆盖义齿的临床应用效果。方法:选择临床上下颌需要做覆盖义齿的患者作为研究对象,进行太极扣覆盖义齿和磁性覆盖义齿修复,比较患者的主观感觉、临床观察、固位力和咀嚼效率。结果:两种修复方法的固位力和咀嚼效率无显著性差异,90%的患者对两种义齿的美观、舒适、稳固、咀嚼功能均感到满意,但临床观察发现,两例磁性覆盖义齿基牙出现牙龈炎。结论:太极扣较磁性附着体更适于下颌全口覆盖义齿的修复。 Objective: To compare the clinical effects of stern-gold attachment and magnetic attachment on mandible overdenture retention. Methods: Stern-gold attachment and magnetic attachment were respectively applied to patients who adapted to mandible complete over-denture. Masticator' efficiency, retention strength and clinical effects were evaluated between the two kinds of over-denture. Results: No significant difference was observed in masticatory efficiency and retention strength between the two groups ( P 〉 0.05). Over 90% patients felt comfortable, aesthetic and stable, but gingivitis occurred in two patients with magnetic attachment. Conclusion: Stern-gold attachment is more suitable for mandible over-denture than magnetic attachment.
