A NOTE ON SEARCHING FOR PAGODAS ON THE PLIATEAU

如果说高山和湖泊是青藏高原的身躯，那么寺庙和佛塔便是青藏高原 灵魂，没有巍峨的山峦，广阔的天空作背景，寺和塔是孤寂的；没有寺院的香火和庄严的塔林，山川与天空是空洞的。青藏高原上和谐共生的山与寺，湖与塔，完美地弥补了人们精神世界和感官世界的双重需求。

If mountains and lakes are the body of the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau,then temples and Buddhist pagodas are its soul.Yet the temples and pagodas would be lonely if they do not have towering mountains and the expansive sky as their backgroud.
