On the historical"disasters"of Hitler and National Socialism, the post-war German politicians have conducted a variety of reflections. Generally speaking, their attitudes toward the peccavi, apology and compensation, were fairly sincere, discordant voices could be heard over and over again, and the disputes were exceedingly fierce. Manners of these politicians were not only related to their personal morality, values and partisan stands, but were also closely interrelated to the changes of the situations at home and abroad, and they often had a function to serve contemporary politics. In fact there is always a close connection between historical reflections and politics.
