本文着重阐述了科学与技术之间的区别及其它们与经验之间的关系，同时还论述了经验技术和科学技术的不同本质特征。在此基础上，作者对学术界一直十分关注的“李约瑟难题”进行了剖析，并指出了中国为什么没有诞生近代科学和在古代社会一直领先于西方的中国技术为什么近代会突然落后的真正原因。

This paper mainly expounds the differences between science and technology and the relations between them and experience.Furthermore,it also discusses the different essential features of the experience technique and the science technology.On this basis ,the author of the paper analyses the “N.Joseph Puzzle” to which the academic circles has paid extremely close attention all along and points out the real cause why China had not emerged modern science and why Chinese technique that was in the lead to the West in a long time fell behind unexpectedly in modern times.
