摘要
提出一种基于物理模型——双色反射模型的彩色图像边缘检测与分类方法。首先在分析双色反射模型的基础上,论证了不同的色彩空间具有不同的色彩不变性特征;然后提出一种彩色图像的Sobel边缘检测算子和基于类别方差的阈值自动选取方法,并用该方法在不同颜色空间中对彩色图像进行边缘检测;最后,根据不同颜色空间的色彩不变性特征将边缘分为材质边缘、阴影边缘和高亮边缘3类。实验表明该彩色图像边缘检测与分类方法具有良好的效果和应用价值。
A new color image edge detection and classification method based on a physical model (dichromatic reflection model) is presented in this paper.First,we analyze this model and discuss color invariant features in different color spaces.Then,a new color image Sobel edge detector with adaptive threshold based on class variance is proposed.With this method,color image edge detection is carried out in different color spaces.At last,edges are classified into one of the following classes according to different color invariant features:material edges,shadow edges and highlight edges.Experiments show that this edge detection and classification method can get nice result and has good application prospect.
