摘要
涂又光先生学有渊源,本立而道生。他的大学之道可以分为两个阶段:1993年之前是以哲学为中心的文化研究阶段,之后是文化视野中的教育研究阶段。前一阶段在冯友兰研究、楚国哲学研究等领域卓有成就,后一阶段对中国高等教育史进行了基于通识的专题透析,对教育基本问题作出了自成体系的哲学解释。涂又光先生的大学之道由三层构成,表层是以识见长的学术,中层是融会贯通的能力,深层是为学术而学术的精神。
The academic origins of professor Tu Youguang's great learning help his Dao naturally grow up while he bends his attention to what is radical. His Dao of great learning has gone through two developmental stages. Before 1993, which could be named as th~ stage of culture study whose focus is philosophy, Professor Tu has made fruitful achievements in his research on Feng Youlan and Chu philosophy. Since 1993, namely the stage of educational research from a cultural perspective, Professor Tu has conducted a thorough analysis of the history of Chinese higher education based on his holistie understanding of Chinese culture, and he also forms a systemic set of philosophical explanations for the fundamental issues of education. Professor Tu's DAO of great learning can be described as having three concentric circles: the outer circle is his academic achievements noted for his insights, the middle circle is his ability to integrate his wealth of knowledge and experiences, and the inner circle is his spirit of doing research for the sake of research itself.
