思维技能测验是剑桥评价举办的大学入学考试，主要考查批判性思维和问题解决。批判性思维分为7个方面进行考查，分别是：总结主旨、抽象结论、确认假设、评估附加证据的影响、发现推理错误、比较推理过程、应用原理。问题解决分为3个方面：选择相关信息、寻求过程、确认相似。思维技能测验应用的学科知识都是小学和中学的数学基础知识。着重考查思维能力。
