An Improved Step Tracking Algorithm for SATCOM On-The-Move

摘要 研究了"动中通"的初始捕获、重捕获及跟踪算法。为了提高"动中通"系统的性能,针对系统中传统的初始捕获、重捕获及跟踪算法在捕获速度和跟踪精度之间的矛盾,提出了一种基于变步长的步进跟踪算法。该算法具有初始捕获及重捕获阶段搜索步长自动增大而系统转入跟踪后步长很小的特点。理论分析和计算机仿真结果表明:该算法在保持较低计算复杂度的前提下,能同时获得较快的捕获速度及较高的跟踪精度。 Initial acquisition, re-acquisition and tracking algorithm for SOTM was studied. In order to improve SOTM's performance and solve the contradiction between the acquisition speed and the tracking precision of traditional step tracking algorithm for SOTM, an improved step tracking algorithm based on variable step size was proposed. This algorithm could enlarge automatically the step size in initial acquisition and re-acquisition stage and lessen the step size in tracking stage. The simulation results confirmed the theoretical analysis and showed that the proposed algorithm has faster initial acquisition speed and higher tracking precision while keeping lower computational complexity.
