摘要
介绍了目前FTTH领域最流行的两大技术:EPON与GPON,及两种技术的网络模型和技术特点;从标准成熟度和产业链、传输效率和支持速率等级、业务能力和安全性、成本等几个方面对两种技术进行了比较;并对两种技术的发展前景进行了预测。
This paper introduced two most popular technologies in the field of FTTH current： EPON and GPON.Network models and technical characteristics of these two technologies were described.The two technologies were compared from the standard and the industry chain,transmission efficiency and supporting rate level,operational capacity and safety,cost and other aspects.At last,the future developments of two technologies were predict.
