摘要
在英语课堂上,教师话语既是实施教学的重要手段,又是学生获得目标语输入的一个主要源泉,因此,研究它有助于我们分析和找出教学中促进或阻碍语言学习的因素,进而更好地指导教师的课堂教学,最终促进学生对目标语的习得。本研究以一所高职院校的四位基础英语教师作为研究对象,采用自然调查法,对教师话语量、提问类型和课堂语码转换三个方面进行了调查和分析,以期揭示出高职院校英语教师话语现状与特征。最后,笔者就改进高职院校基础英语教学提了几点建议,期待能为职业院校英语专业教学改革提供有价值的参考和启示。
This study can help us analyse and find out the factors to improve and impede language learning so as to guide teaching more effectively and facilitate students' learning of the target language.The writer exemplifies this by a case study of teacher talk in one vocational university.Three aspects,such as the amount of teacher talk,question type and code-switch have been investigated and analysed in accordance with the principle of naturalistic inquiry.It aims to find out the general features of teacher talk and its problems in basic english class.Finally,the writer proposes several suggestions on how to improve English teaching in vocational universities.It is hoped that the study can shed light on English teaching reform in vocational universities.
