长沙文化书社是以毛泽东为代表的新民学会会员在五四运动后马克思主义在中国广泛传播的热潮中继《湘江评论》之后创办的又一个传播新文化和马克思主义的重要阵地。文化书社在湖南传播和宣传马克思主义;团结革命知识分子,培养革命骨干;对党组织活动的经济支援和交通联络上都具有重要的历史地位,对湖南党组织的创建和发展作出了重要贡献。

The cultural literary society is another important base to disseminate new culture and the Marxism,which follows＂Xiangjiang Comments＂organized by the members of Xinmin Society represented by Mao Zedong after The May 4th Movement when Marxism widespreadly disseminated in China.It disseminates and propagandizes the Marxism in Hunan;it units revolutionary intellectuals and trains the revolutionary backbone;It has the important historical status to support the Party in economy and traffic liaison;it has made a significant contribution to the Hunan Party＇s foundation and development.
