摘要 清季四川存古学堂在民初变体为当时川省唯一的专门性国学研究和教学机构,是蜀学传承和发展的重要载体。过去对此研究不足。清季民初四川朝野除政治对立和抗争外,在文教事业上还有通力合作的一面。对这一过程作一考察可以从学术机构变迁的角度增进我们对近代蜀学传承和演变的认知,而从省一级的"地方"视角考察清季民初的社会、文化与学术,应可推进对那一时代的认识。 Sichuan School for Ancient Learning in late Qing Dynasty developed into a special institute for transmitting Chinese classical learning,and became the only important carrier of traditional cultural heritage in Sichuan area in the Early Republic of China period.The role of this institute had been largely neglected in previous academic studies.Actually,in the late Qing and early Republican period,there had been consistent efforts for cooperation on cultural and educational matters between the governments and the elite society in Sichuan,although it was mainly a period of political opposition and struggle between different forces.Therefore,a thorough investigation of how academic institutes changed and developed in this period will not only cast light on the evolution of academic studies in Sichuan,but also help to understand the social,cultural and academic situation in the late Qing and early Republican period from a provincial,or,regional,point of view.
