中美关系解冻的研究述评

Survey on the Existing Literature of Sino-US Rapprochement

东西方学者曾从不同的研究视角——中美关系解冻的历史进程、美国的全球战略、中国的国家安全状况、中美不同的外交决策机制、尼克松政府对华称谓的话语演变等——深入探讨了中美关系解冻这一重大历史事件,并部分回答了为什么中美关系会解冻,让双方走到一起的共同利益是什么,双方是如何构建理解的桥梁,同时又不在原则问题上妥协等问题。随着尼克松总统档案的解密,深入、细致地研究中美关系解冻的每一个环节已成为可能。本文将依据美国新近解密的尼克松总统档案,对现有的研究成果做一述评。

Many Scholars have analyzed the sudden breakthrough in the Sino-US relations during the Nixon administration from the angles of historical process, American global strategy, China's national security, decision-making system, leadership styles, discourse change in Nixon's and directly and indirectly tackled the question of why the Sino-US relations could be improved in the Nixon presidency, what were the common interests of the both sides, and how did the two sides try to build the bridge of mutual understanding without compromising on principles. Based on the newly declassified Nixon presidential documents, this paper makes a survey on the existing literature of Sino-US rapprochement.
