Coordinated Innovation: What Is Necessary for the Deepening of the Reform in China's Colleges and Universities?

结合几位专家多年从事科学研究和培养人才的经历,探讨了教育部新近推出的"2011计划"(高等学校创新能力提升计划)的深刻内涵。认为,协同创新,需要有健全的科学研究队伍体系;协同创新,需要有广阔的国际合作视野;协同创新,需要有人才、学科、科研三位一体的团队和人才梯队。

Based on the experiences of several experts engaged in scientific research and talent production, the present paper explores the connotation of the ＂Plan 2011＂ （the plan to improve colleges＇ ability to innovate） set forth by the Ministry of Education. It points out that coordinated innovation makes it necessary to establish a sound system for the ranks of researchers, to have a broad vision for international cooperation, and to organize three-in-one teams with talents, disciplines and research and an echelon of talents.
