The Correlation Analysis on New Indicators of Periodical Evaluation: Index A and Index H

利用数学原理推导A指数,结合统计方法与其他指标进行相关性分析。结果表明,A指数是基于h指数的修正指数,与H指数具有很强的相关性。和其他指数相比,A指数与综合评价值相关性最高。在继承h指数优点的基础上,A指数更好地减少了载文量对期刊评价的影响,在科技期刊评价中更显科学性。

Objective ： Create a new journal comprehensive evaluation index ： index A, and verify the efficacy of the eval- uation. Method： Use mathematical principles to deduce the index A, and then find out correlation with other indicators with statistical analysis. Results： Index A is the correction index based on index H and has strong correlation with index H. Compared with other indexes, index A has the highest correlation with comprehensive evaluation amount than any of the others. Conclusions： Not only having all merits inherited from index H, index A also decreases the effectiveness from papers overall amount. That makes index A more scientific in the evaluation of science and technology journals.
