大学英语教材建设大致经历了四代,第四代大学英语系列教材之听说教材已不能适应当前大学英语教学改革的新形势,开发新一代大学英语视听说教材势在必行。新一代大学英语视听说教材的编写应遵循以下原则:以学生为本的原则、针对性原则、工具性原则、多样性原则、立体化原则、任务型原则、主题化原则、视听说并举原则。

With the implementation of Senior High School English Standard and College English Cur- riculum Requirements, it is difficult to realize the cohesion between College English Listening and Speaking textbooks of the fourth generation of College English textbook series and ELT in Senior High School, and it is also difficult for these textbooks to meet the demands of the current reform of College English education in China, therefore, it is necessary to compile new generation of College English Viewing, Listening and Speaking textbooks. The compilation of new generation of College English Viewing, Listening and Speaking textbooks should follow 8 principles, that is, student^oriented, tar- get-based, practicality, diversification, study package, task-based, theme-based, and simultaneous visual-aural-oral development.
