The synthesis of PCL/PEG block polymer was investigated in this paper. Effects of amount of catalyst, reaction time and molecular weight of PEG on the synthesis of PCL/PEG were studied. High molecular weight PCL/PEG block polymers were obtained by two step additions of ε caprolactone and stannous octoate as catalyst at 110 ℃ for 24~48 h, without transesterification. PCL/PEG block polymer was characterized by 1H NMR, FT IR, DSC and GPC.
