Laoheqiao market is a famous market in north-west China for the Islamic meat trade,and it has a very important affecting on the whole country market system structure. Based on our long term practical investigation,we have collected and mastered many useful materials about the market,and analysised its location in the point of Eco-geography and its significance in studying the poor-area's poverty problem in northwest China,such as Xi-Hai-Gu region in Ningxia. The market's superior location condition is based on two sides: in micro scope,it is resulted from several location factors, such as communication, population,custom and market system;in macro scope,the model of supply-push and demand-pull is the main force to develop the market. By analysis, we draw a conclusion that Laoheqiao market location provided theoretical and practical direction to study and construct the reginal goods circulation system and market system in underdeveloped regions,such as Xi-Hai-Gu in Ningxia.
