To investigate the relationship between reproductive hormones and trace elements in serum of infertile dairy cattle with ovarian stationary treated with fertility -promoting powder, and analyze of the correlation and regression equation between reproductive hormones and trace elements. The enzyme - linked :immunosorbent assay (ELISA) were used to detect the concentrations of follicle - stimulating hormone ( FSH), luteinizing hormone ( LH), progesterone ( P4 ) and estradiol ( E2 ) in serum of infertile dairy cattle with ovarian stationary treated with fertility - promoting powder, and the atomic absorption spectrometry was used to determine the contents of serum copper (Cu), iron (Fe), manganese (Mn) and zinc (Zn). The statistical analysis was performed for the correlation and regression equation between the four kinds of hormones and the four kinds of trace elements. The results showed that P4 was positively correlated with Cu and Mn, and was negatively correlated with Fe and Zn; E2 was negatively correlated with Cu, and was positively correlated with Mn, Fe', and Zn; FSH was negatively correlated with Cu, and was positively correlated with Mn, Fe, and Zn; LH was negatively correlated with Cu, and was positively correlated with Mn, Fe, and Zn. The resuits indicate that the contents of trace elements have some effects on the secretion of the hormones in serum of infertile dairy cattle with ovarian stationary.
