Coastal Zone and Earth System Sciences Research

从系统的定义出发， 本文简要回顾了提出地球系统科学的背景与过程。地球系统科学研究已经成为地学领域的研究焦点与热点，并带动和加速了地球信息机理、陆地地球系统科学和全球变化的研究。本文重点分析海岸带在地球系统中所处的特殊位置，海岸带研究在地球系统科学研究中起着重要作用。简要介绍海岸带科学前沿—海岸带海陆交互作用计划 （ＬＯＩＣＺ）。

From the definition of system, background and process of Earth System Science are reviewed simply. The earth system science has become a focus and hotspot in Geo sciences field, and is driving and accelerating the development of geo information science, land system science and globe change study. The special location of coastal zone in earth system is discussed in detail. Coastal zone study plays an important role in earth system science. The front of coastal zone study, LOCIZ, is also introduced briefly in this paper.
