A COMPUTER PLOTTING METHOD FOR LOG INFORMATION AND CONVERSION OF APPLE AND IBM

测井解释成果图的输出是测井解释工作微机化的重要问题。文中介绍了利用微机上所配置的针式打印机成功地绘制各种测井成果图的方法。并详细介绍了利用RS—232接口实现了IBM与APPLEⅡ两种机型的通信方法及对应的程序框图,以便将在APPLE机上开发的程序及数据迅速正确地传送到IBM机上。

A method for making various well log plot on a printer was introduced.A microcomputer communication interface was built between IBM and APPLE I machines.The IBM machine is gradually replacing APPLE I which was widely used before.The data and softwares developed on APPLE I can be used on IBM.This paper describes a way to communicate between the two by using the RS-232 interface and gives the schematic diagrams of both software and hardware.Thus it may help those computer users to solve the problem of microcomputer communication between their APPLE I and IBM machines.
