Basic monitoring methods of adverse drug reactions, including voluntary reporting system, legal reporting sys- tem. concentrated monitor report, prescriptional incident monitor, recording link research and pharmacoepidemiological stud- ies etc.,were summarized systematically. Their own merits and limitation were also analysed and discussed respectively.
