The Socialist Youth League is the predecessor of the Communist Youth League. In the city of Taiyuan, the Socialist Youth League was established earlier than the Communist Party. As one of the pioneers of the Chinese communist movement, Gao Junyu acted as a guide and a founder in the foundation of the Taiyuan Socialist Youth League.
