加塞特的大学使命观及其学术影响研究——以CNKI(2002-2012)的文献计量为基础

Academic Impact of Jose Ortega Y Gasset's Mission of the University:A Bibliometric Analysis of Relevant Research Published in Academic Journals Included in CNKI Database(2002-2012)

本文以CNKI数据库的文献计量为基础对加塞特《大学的使命》的学术影响进行了系统研究。经过对CNKI数据库收录的490篇论文的分析,我们发现该书自出版以来受到了中国学者的广泛关注与认可,但其每个章节的受关注程度并不均衡。统计发现学界最认同的观点是:大学的职能应包括:文化传授、专业教学以及科学研究和新科学家的培养,其中最重要的使命是文化教学与文化育人;大学应遵循教育的经济原理,以学生为中心,特别是在教学中要以普通学生为起点;科学是神圣的,但不能泛化科学而影响其他使命;大学需走出象牙塔,以开放的姿态融入外部环境,坚持用自己特有的"精神力量"指引公共生活;大学作为一种机构,目的是让几乎所有的人都能接受高等教育。

This paper is a bibliometric analysis of the academic impact of Jose Ortega Y Gasset's Mission of the University in China,based on relevant research published in academic journals included in CNKI( China National Knowledge Infrastructure) database( 2002-2012). It is found that Gasset's book had been well received and highly praised by Chinese scholars,for altogether 490 articles in CNKI database cited this book. Statistics show that the following ideas proposed by Gasset are also very popular among Chinese scholars:( 1) the most important mission of the university should be cultural transmission and talent cultivation;( 2) university education should follow principles of educational economics and be targeted at average students' learning needs;( 3) scientific research is just one of the university's missions and should not be overemphasized;( 4) the university should no more be an ivory tower,but open to the outside world,guiding the common people by their intellectual and spiritual powers;( 5) the university should be accessible to nearly every person.
