府精神明与脑主神明

Fu-organ Filled with Essence Making Shenming and Brain Governing Shenming

该文对"府精神明"与脑主神明的关系作了探讨,提出"府精神明"是李时珍"脑为元神之府"和现代脑主神明说之源。"府不精,神不明"是先天愚钝、呆傻等智力障碍性疾病或后天老年性痴呆智减、智力渐退等病变的发病基础。保持"府精神明"和预防"府不精,神不明"都与"食气入胃"相关。文中还对心主神明与脑主神明作了简要鉴别。

This paper discusses the relationship between the Fu-organ（brain）filled with essence making Shenming and the brain governing Shenming and indicates the former is the source of the brain being the house of Yuanshen given by LI Shizhen and the modern theory of the brain governing Shenming. The Fuorgan（brain）lacks of essence making Shen out of brightness,which is the basis of congenital slow-witted or postnatal hypophrenia such as senile dementia. Food qi accepted by the stomach relates to keeping the Fu-organ（brain）filled with essence,making Shen brightness and preventing the Fu-organ（brain）from lack of essence and Shen out of brightness. The paper also has differentiated the two theories of the heart governing Shenming and the brain governing Shenming.
