Objective To explore the semiconductor laser assisted in the treatment of dental pulp joint lesions. Method 50 cases of periodontal pulp joint disease, 30 ~ 55 years old, were randomly divided into experimental group and control group, 25 cases in each group. Control group patients adopted root canal therapy and periodontal treatment. On the basis of control group, experimental group patients used semiconductor laser for adjuvant therapy. Measured before treatment periodontal probing depth(PPD), clinical attachment level(CAL), improved bleeding index(m BI), and reviewed every 3 months after treatment, paid close attention to its dynamic change, and evaluated treatment effect of semiconductor laser auxiliary treatment. Result 3 months after treatment, PPD, CAL, and m BI of the two groups were significantly decreased, PPD of experimental group patients decreased more obviously, it was significant difference(P〈0.05). CAL and m BI of the two group were no significant difference(P〉0.05). 6 months after treatment, PPD, CAL, m BI of experimental group patients still continued declined, while control group had no significant change. Indicators of the two groups were significant differences(Pall〈0.05). Conclusion After the basic treatment of periodontal pulp joint pathological changes, using the semiconductor laser as a means of adjuvant therapy can effectively improve the treatment effect, and get a more long-term and stable prognosis.
