The Textual Research On Chen Shan of Tongren

明代铜仁进士陈珊,因忤逆首辅严嵩,官龃龉不达;后言官又弹劾他贪肆不职,遭免职闲住,颇为士论所遗。今据墓志铭等相关资料,勾稽其生平仕宦、乡居事迹,还其真相。陈珊节操言论堪为士表,乃一代狂狷之士。借古鉴今,对今天培育风清气正的官场生态,具有一定的意义。

Chen Shah, a successful candidate in the highest imperial examinations of Tongren in the the Ming Dynasty, was a lower official for ten years because of disobedience to the Premier Yan Song and was dismissed from office by an imperial censors who had impeached him greedy shop, therefore he was despised by many scholars.Chen shan＇ s words and behavior was respected by others and he was a model for scholars whether in his high moral deeds or speeches. And he was also a very crazy person at that time. We took the example of this to the modern society in order to train the ecological official place nowadays and it has great significance today.We can cultivate our fresh air for being an official.
