The Nanyang Volunteer Drivers and Mechanics was an important group that offered support for China during the war. The paper studies the transportation on military materials in the Burma Road based on the first-hand resources from the Archives of the Nanyang Volunteer Drivers and Mechanics and the newspaper articles published in Nanyang in the 1930s. The paper argues that Nanyang Volunteer Drivers and Mechanics undertook the most of Military transportation tasks in importing materials abroad before the 1942. It was Nanyang Volunteer Drivers and Mechanics that assured Military supplies that China was in urgent need. The Nanyang Volunteer Drivers and Mechanics had made great contributions to the China＇ s War of Resistance and the Anti-Fascist War in the world.
