Introducing English Version of A Study of Sino-India Relations within the Horizon of Western Rhetoric

运用个案分析的研究方法,选取陈观胜和李培茱翻译的A Critical Review of the Contemporary Sino-Indian Relations的一章作为语料,结合修辞与翻译的相关理论,从英语词汇修辞、句子修辞、段落修辞及辞格等方面分析译者高超的翻译技巧。

With case study as the research method, the thesis chose one chapter of A Critical Review of the Contemporary Sino-Indian Relations translated by Chen Guansheng and Li Peizhu as the research material, and analyzed the relationship between rhetorics and translation displayed in the chapter. In the thesis, the advanced translation skills of the translators were analyzed in such aspects： vocabulary rhetoric, sentence rhetoric, paragraph rhetoric and figure of speech.
