The opinion that " Yin can generate yang qi by hiding essence" originates from Plain Questions,on which people have different ideas. Yin hides the essence of the five Zang-organs which first overflows and infuses into the lung meridian of HandTaiyin, then into the twelve meridians in turn. That's why the overflowing and infusion of the twelve meridians originates from the essence of the five Zang-organs. The essence of the five Zang-organs and the meridians can also be divided into " yin" and " yang" according to the dynamic or static state. Both can be divided into two,or can be united into one,but they are interlinked each other. TCM meridians originally mean Zang-organs. In terms of the origin of yingqi and weiqi,Zang-organs must be considered. In terms of Zang-organs,blood and qi are used to replace yingqi and weiqi.
