摘要
人际意义关注语言如何建立和保持人际关系。旅游文本作为一种感染类型的文本,其主要功能是提供信息,吸引游客。由于中西语言文化差异,译者需要对文本信息做适当处理,才能使译文体现的人际意义与原文对等。从人际意义对等的角度,探讨旅游翻译中文本信息的增加、简化和替换。
Interpersonal Meaning discusses how language builds and holds interpersonal relationship. Tourism text, as a kind of vocative text,its major function is to provide information and to attract tourists ' attention. There are differences between Chinese and western cultures, so the translator has to deal with the text information properly in order to make the interpersonal meaning in the target text equal to that in the source text. This paper discusses amplification, simplification and replacement of text information in tourism translation from the perspective of interpersonal meaning equivalence.
