The roles of health education for the oupatients were illustrated from health need, improving the relationship between the nurse and patients, correcting bad psychological factors of the patients, raising the quality of the nurses, promoting the recovery, decreasing medical costs and others, and the influencing factors of health education were discussed from the system of nursing health education, main factors of the nurse＇s quality, allocation of nurse human resources, the patients＇ quality and others.
