内圣外王之道与当代新儒学重建

Principle of Saint Inside and King Appearance and Reconstruction in New Contemporary Confucianism

明清以降,儒学由于内部蜕变和外部多次冲击变成了"游魂",面临着现代转型。儒学的核心结构是内圣外王,其渊源是古代圣王。春秋战国时期,现实中圣王不再,原始儒家在理论上整合圣与王,提出完整的内圣外王之道。此后在不同历史阶段或侧重外王,或侧重内圣,但内圣外王之道一脉相承,传承至今。儒学现代转型的逻辑起点是如何对内圣外王进行现代诠释和转换,港台和大陆新儒家都做出了各自的探索,也存在很大争议。在今天儒学全面复兴的过程中,还应以内圣外王为基本结构重建当代新儒学,为此作者提出了彰明仁道、修身为本、思想整合、社会儒学、制度建构的思路,即以儒家中和之道整合心性儒学与政治儒学、社会儒学,上升到内圣外王之道,以重建圆融、圆满的新儒学体系。

Since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, Confucianism has become ＂wandering souls＂ as a result of internalmetamorphosis and external impacts, confronted with modern transition. The core structure of Confucianism is saint inside andking appearance, whose origin was a sage ruler in ancient times. During the Spring, Autumn and Warring-State Periods, sagerulers were no longer in existence in reality, so the school of primitive Confucianism integrated saint and king and offered acomplete set of rules for saint inside and king appearance. Henceforth, at different historical stages, king appearance and saintinside were stressed alternately but they both come down in one continuous line to present day. The logical start ofConfucianism at modern transition is to make modern interpretation and transformation of saint inside and king appearance, thenew school of Confucianism in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Chinese mainland make their separate exploration despite controversies.In revitalizing in full Confucianism today, it is necessary to reconstruct contemporary new Confucianism based on saint insideand king appearance, therefore the writer has proposed a thought of highlighting philanthropy, cultivating moral character,thought integration, social Confucianism and system construction; neutralizing rule in school of Confucianism to integratedisposition Confucianism, political Confucianism and social Confucianism to be uplifted to saint inside and king appearanceuntil new-Confucianism system featured by harmony and fulfillment.
