摘要
针对当前理论界对数字阅读与自然环境影响认识分歧严重的事实,文章利用生命周期评估(LCA)方法,构建数字阅读能耗理论分析模型。首先从生产制造、阅读利用和回收处置等三个维度分析数字阅读设备的能耗;然后分析互联网和数据中心的能耗,并比较数字阅读和纸质阅读的差异;最后得出数字阅读并不低碳的结论,澄清目前的认识误区。
Given the serious differences on the environmental impact of digital information access,that is whether digital really is greener than paper The authors construct a theoretical analysis model of digital information access energy consumption using the method of life cycle assessment(LCA). This study analyzes the energy consumption data about the extensive use of ICTs equipment and infrastructure, such as e-readers, desktop/ notebook computers,mobile phones,i Pad,internet and data center,and then the data with the existing carbon footprint of the printed books are compared. The conclusion is that digital reading is not a low-carbon pattern,thus further clarifying the existing misunderstanding.
