摘要
采用半结构式访谈的方式,以动态系统理论为视角,对理工科专业大学生英语学习负动机进行研究。运用内容分析法对访谈数据进行分析,发现理工科专业大学生英语学习负动机具有动态系统的特征:负动机具有相对稳定性,与学生融合型动机缺失有关;负动机具有动态性,在吸态与斥态之间转化;负动机具有非线性,不同的学习者表现出个体差异性;负动机具有情境性,由学习者在情境因素中反复体验适应而突显出来。研究结果表明了负动机的动态属性,它构建于学习者自我与社会环境各层面因素之间的互动之中。研究结果有助于丰富现有的负动机文献,为负动机研究提供有益参考。
This paper , adopting semi-structured interview,examines the demotivation to learn English a -mong non-English major students of sciences and engineering from a perspective of dynamic systems theo-ry . The collected data is processed by means of content analysis . The results show that the demotivation to learn English among non-English major students of sciences and engineering displays the features of dy -namic systems: demotivation is relatively stable , related to the lack of integrative demotivation of learn -ers ;demotivation is dynamic,transferring between attractor state and repeller s ta te; demotivation is situ -ationally constructed,emerged from learners; repeatedly experiences of situational factors . The findings of this study justify the dynamicity of demotivation , which is constructed from the interaction between learn -ers and the factors at sociocultural contexts . This study will enrich the literature of current demotivation research .
