摘要
本文从词汇广度知识与词汇深度知识两个维度入手,对120名美国初、中、高等级汉语学习者写作文本中产出的词汇进行了定量分析,探讨了词汇知识的阶段性习得特征。研究发现产出性词汇知识的发展与汉语水平之间存在正相关关系,汉语水平的发展基本伴随产出性词汇知识的发展,但词汇广度知识与深度知识的发展表现出不同的特征。各阶段学习者普遍存在产出性词汇知识不足的问题。本文还构建了产出性词汇知识发展模式,并提出了相应的词汇教学对策。
Productive vocabulary knowledge plays an essential part in L2 acquisition. This paper is aimed at exploring the productive vocabulary development by analyzing 120 American CSL learners' composi- tions. Statistics from this empirical study suggest the positive interrelationship between learners' develop- ment in Chinese proficiency and that in productive vocabulary development. The improvement of Chinese proficiency is generally concomitant with the development of productive vocabulary both in the breadth and the depth. The breadth and the depth of productive vocabulary are developed in different way. The in- sufficiency in productive vocabulary is common to learners at different levels. This paper establishes a general pattern of CSL learners' productive vocabulary development and discusses the pedagogical implications of the study.
