党性是一个历史范畴,在马克思主义建党理论中,已经比较系统地形成了党性的基本原则和基本内容,这些基本原则和内容是由无产阶级政党的性质决定的,也是党的先进性的表现所在。党性的基本原则在任何候都是不会改变的,并只能通过党的先进性建设来予以保证。而党性内容和党的先进性的外在表现形式,是随着形势和党的任务的变化而不断变化发展的。因此如何保持党的先进性,关键在于领导者的党性修养。

Party spirit is a historical category.Its cardinal principles and contents,is decided by the nature of Proletariat Party and representing the Party's progress,have already been formed systemically in Marxism about building a party.Cardinal principles are permanent at any time.Furthermore,the building of the Party's advanced nature is the only way to guarantee it.However,the cardinal contents,as well as the external form of the Party's progress,develop continually with the change of current situation and Party's tasks.Therefore,the culture of leaders' Party spirit means much to guarantee the Party's progress.
