This paper analyzes the function orientation of researchand evaluation institutions of industry steering committee,andputs forward that the main responsibilities of them are"research","evaluation"and"service".It is believed that such institutionsshould rely on industry steering committee and its member units,give full play to their enthusiasm and initiative,accurately determinethe new requirements of vocational education development,make clear their tasks,strengthen internal construction,andmake clear their working mechanism,so as to achieve innovationand development.
