摘要
英语教材是英语课程的核心材料,教师科学地使用教材对提高教学质量至关重要。通过问卷、课堂观察、访谈的形式,对农村英语教师评价和使用PEP新版小学英语教材进行探究。结果显示,大部分农村教师对教材的版面设计、内容编排等方面都比较满意,教师在使用教材时对"教什么"有比较清晰的了解,但在"怎么教"方面,还不能很好地理解教材编排的理念,在词汇、对话、阅读和语音教学方面还存在教学误区,在使用教材时,教师较大的困惑在于如何在对话课中进行拓展练习,创设有"信息沟"的对话活动,如何运用自然拼读法进行语音教学,如何在读写教学中把握读和写的度。
English textbooks are the core materials of English courses.It is very important for teachers to use textbooks scientifically in order to improve their teaching quality.This research through questionnaire,classroom observation,and interviews researches on rural English teachers evaluation and use of the new version of PEP primary school English textbooks.Results show that the majority of rural teachers are content with the display layout,and content compilation.The teachers have a clear understanding of“what to teach”in the use of teaching materials,but can not have a good understanding of the textbook compilation concept in terms of“how to teach”and there are some misunderstandings in vocabulary,dialogue,reading and pronunciation teaching.When using the teaching materials,teachers are mainly confused about how to expand practice course to create“information gap”dialogue activities,how to carry out phonics teaching by the teaching of reading and writing,and how to grasp the degree of reading and writing.
