关联理论视角下《论语》“君子”形象构建

Image Construction of 'Junzi' in The Analects from the Aspect of Relevance Theory

《论语》中"君子"一词翻译十分多样,但哪种翻译更恰当学界一直存有争论。欲以亚瑟·威利、辜鸿铭英译本为研究对象,借助关联理论探讨和评析"君子"一词在中英两种文化中能够产生最佳关联的译法,以及"君子"形象构建,以期为中国文化典籍英译提供一些借鉴。

The word ’Junzi’in The Analects is varied in different English versions.However,which translation is the most acceptable has been widely discussed.This thesis takes the English versions respectively by Arthur Waley and Ku Hungming as the research objects and explores the best translation as well as how the image of’Junzi’is established from the aspect of Relevance Theory in the hope of providing a reference for the translation of Chinese cultural classics.
