The experience of Professor Zhang Zhifang in treating breast cancer

张志芳教授为湖南省中医药大学第一附属医院的主任医师、硕士研究生导师,从事中西医结合防治肿瘤的临床工作30余载。张志芳教授认为正虚是乳腺癌发病的决定因素,邪实是其发病的重要条件,病变与肝脾肾关系最为密切。以"扶正祛邪"为总的治疗原则,辨证与辨病相结合,提出分层治疗模式,并调情志、慎饮食等。本文重点总结其用药依据及用药特色,通过典型案例论证中医药能减轻乳腺癌术后放化疗所致的毒副反应,临床疗效颇佳,值得借鉴与推广。

Professor Zhang Zhifang is the chief physician and postgraduate tutor of the first affiliated hospital of Hunan university of traditional Chinese medicine. Professor Zhang Zhifang believes that healthy-qi deficiency is the decisive factor in the pathogenesis of breast cancer. According to the general therapeutic principle of “strengthening the healthy-qi and removing the evil”, the combination of syndrome differentiation and disease differentiation, the stratified treatment model, emotion regulation, careful diet and so on were proposed. This paper summarizes the basis and drug characteristics for application, the typical examples of traditional Chinese medicine can reduce the adverse reaction caused by radiation and chemotherapy of breast cancer surgery, the clinical curative effect is good, which is worth reference and promotion.
