由“听音为字”看“戏”“?”“丫麻”

Investigate the Usage of Xi (戏), Pi (?) and Yama (丫麻) by the Phenomenon of Tingyinweizi (听音为字)

由于“听音为字”,明清白话文献与现代汉语中作为“性交”义的字有多种写法。从理据来看,“戏”字最准确。“女性的阴部”也有不同写法,“[月匹]”字最准确。与“[月匹]”有关的还有“丫麻”等,与“[月匹]”同义,是隐喻用法。

As the phenomenon of tingyinweizi(听音为字)existed,there were various characters to record the meaning of coitus in the documents of Ming and Qing dynasties vernacular and contemporary Chinese,from the perspective of motivation,xi(戏)was the most accurate one.There were also different characters for the meaning of female’s private part,pi([月匹])was the most accurate one,and there was another word yama(丫麻)related with pi([月匹])as they share the same meaning,and the usage of yama(丫麻)is a metaphor.
